We humans are so attached to the idea that if another human doesn't acknowledge us, our efforts, our product, it must be devoid of meaning. I would venture to say that anything done with the intention of reaching others is, essentially, nonexistent without an audience. (I.e.. Listen up, you companies stuck in your own navel.)
Some of the best things in life slip into the ethereal, beyond the obvious. That's what makes them special. They are worthy be just being - and you can't package that, no matter how hard you try (see Lovemarks) :-)
